About the Owner
At the age of 13, Terry Hetrick stepped onto a skeet field for the first time. A that point, even Terry did not realize this would lead to a 40 year career in the shooting industry.
At the age of 17, Terry was named to the All American Team and All State Team. Only two years later, in 1976, Terry won the Pennsylvania State High Over All championship at the age of 19.
Hetrick moved to Texas in 1991. Winning numerous titles in Texas and around the US, he found himself a regular member of the All American Team. Terry won numerous state, regional, national and world titles while shooting for Briley Manufacturing (a top supplier of skeet tubes and shooting components). In 1996 he was inducted into the Pennsylvania Skeet Shooting Hall of Fame.
In 2000, Terry Hetrick moved to Nashville, TN to pursue his lifelong dream of teaching full time. Since then, he has won 8 Tennessee state championships including HOA twice, and HAA three times. In 2002 Hetrick was inducted into the Huntingdon County Sports Hall of Fame. In addition to regularly finding himself in the winning spotlight, Terry has coached many All Americans, national champions and world champions.
Terry is a dedicated father, coach & sportsmen who shares his passion for shooting with his daughters Christa & Nicole, his fiancé Michelle and her son Cooper. This is evidenced by his daughter Christa winning the 2005 Sub Jr. Lady's World championship at the age of 14.
Terry proudly shoots Krieghoff firearms when he competes as well as using Beretta shotguns at his shooting school.
